I would like to provide this testimonial to ComFree for helping me sell my home recently. I found that working with this company selling my home was easier and more pleasant than I ever could have anticipated.

 

In July of 2007, I contacted Ron Funk of the Okanagan branch of ComFree in order to obtain information on selling my home privately. During this time, I had my home listed on the MLS for over a year and then with BC Homes for Sale, after that. My home was not selling and did not generate much interest despite reducing the price several times. In December 2007, I listed with ComFree. January 25, 2008 my home sold.

 

In comparison to working with realtors etc, I found this method to be more effective. Anything that needed to be done was done simply, quickly and with the utmost professionalism. Also, I had much more input into the listing, and my ideas as to selling it were valued and implemented the benefits of a “realtor” with their very knowledgeable representative. without the high fees or bureaucracy. My home had both high exposure and professional marketing at the same time. The inquiries, both from interested realtors (who asked to receive a commission) and independent buyers increased due to the information provided on their website and magazine, as compared to the MLS.

 

Despite no experience at the outset, with the ComFree system and experienced representatives, this process enabled me to sell my home quickly and easily. I ended up selling in the same price range, but saved myself the realtor commissions, thus retaining my equity. I did not find any disadvantages; the lawyers made sure my interests were covered. Their costs, I would have to pay even if I used a realtor.

 

I would not hesitate to recommend this service to anyone. As an added benefit, I now have a wonderful relationship with the new owner, who I know will welcome me back to see the home at any point in the future!
